PROJECT

Envisioned as a new millennium building for the campus, it includes the Cory Library, registrar’s offices, a student centre,  a 150 and a 350-seat tiered wraparound lecture theatre, seminar rooms and exhibition spaces. Featuring a triple volume atrium providing natural light and ventilation to the depths of the building, it has transformed the way the Cory Library operates and is a popular venue for exhibitions and lecture series during the annual National Arts Festival. An innovation at the time was the underground archives which do not require artificial temperature control.
