St Andrew’s College Dining Hall

The facility was designed as six independent school-house dining halls around a central common entrance, servery and kitchen. Groups of three dining halls are linked with stack-away doors and can be opened up as single large function venue. It has catered for weddings as well as the closing function for a recent South African Librarians Conference. The lower ground level accommodates a large gymnasium and sports changerooms. Rainwater harvesting with storage and RO treatment is located in the lower level. Wrap-around balconies and verandas open up to the adjacent gardens and views over the sports fields.
