Thembela Architects had the privilege of designing the new NMU Science Centre, and our work was placed in the top three for the 2020 Design Competition and Fee Tender.
The NMU Science Centre is a key building, forming part of the master-planned future pedestrianised crossing of University Way to link the Ocean Sciences Campus with the North Campus.
The comprehensive design features a 150-seat planetarium, teaching laboratory, exhibition space, coffee shop and offices.
